Japanese Tea Gardens, San Francisco
My sister just called and told me that she took this photo. I remember differently. However, this is an incredible shot and I’m not that good of a photographer. So, I believe her. Full credit to my sister for this one.
Beautiful shot…

Thank you. Think about visiting the tea garden if you are ever in SFO. It is gorgeous, especially in spring.

I did many years ago – and in 8 days I got only one afternoon of fog and no rain – beautiful city…

Could be a vague assumption but I’m curious about your inclination towards Japanese culture. Could you enlighten?

Its not just an inclination…I’m fascinated by it😊 They produce so many things I love- manga, anime, historical taiga dramas with swords in them, sushi, dango, sakura prints…the list is pretty much endless😝

I see. How did you get introduced to it? And since when?

Mostly through anime…samurai x, Pokemon, Naruto…ever since I was a little kid😁

Do you have an interest in the culture?

Cannot say because I really don’t know about it.

You might want to start with their history and mythology…they are as intricate and fascinating as ours…I mean indian…

Sure I would love to. 🙂 I faintly remember a series I used to watch. Involved martial arts. I think it was Japanese, now that I recall their attire somewhat. But that’s all I remember. How I’ve forgotten so many things. 🙂

Haha…happens to the best of us…I like learning about different cultures and languages…This helps me draw similarities between them…supporting my favorite hypothesis…Vasudaika kutumbam.

To say this vision is breathtaking sounds so cliched….but, it was the first word that came to mind…self-centredly, it also had me imagining writing in that beautiful space…thank you for sharing…and, please, thank your sister, also 🙂
